Demolition Racer: No Exit is the sequel to Demolition Racer on PlayStation. I've never played the PSX game, but I've heard there are a lot of improvements over its predecessor. The graphics are somewhat dated, I think they reused textures from the PlayStation game. The game is very arcadey and very unrealistic, but that is to be expected. The game is point based, you gain points for hitting the other racers. It takes a while to get used to not racing to finish line as fast as possible, but finishing place does matter, it gives you a multiplier to your points. Different amounts of points are awarded for the way you hit a car, from a measly 5 points for scratching a car to 500 for a Death From Above (The name says it all). If you are destroyed, then you loss all your points. There are several different game modes, Demolition - the regular mode, No Exit - a giant demolition derby, and variants of those two. There is also quite a bit to unlock, new tracks, cars, game modes, and four minigames. The game has several tracks fot the Demolition style modes, but only four bowls for the No Exit modes, with one only being a recolor of another. The game has a soundtrack with music by Fear Factory, Brujeria, Empirion, Coffee Boys, and others; but whether this is good or bad is a mater of opinion. Multiplayer is a blast, but I wish it supported four players. Wonko normally doesn't like racing games, but he will play this one. I suggest it for anyone.

Score: 8.0
